1. The Service

LikeLocalsDo provides AI-generated city guides with curated recommendations across categories including dining, drinks, beaches, outdoor activities, shopping, events, and accommodations. Guides are generated using artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only.

The service includes: browsable city guides, trip planners, experience packages, business place pages, and smart itinerary generation. Features may change as we improve the platform.

2. Accounts & Authentication

We use magic link authentication — no password required. By providing your email address, you agree to receive authentication emails. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account. You may sign out at any time from your dashboard.

Guest users can use core features without signing in. Guest data (saves, itinerary drafts) is stored in your browser's localStorage and is not tied to an account unless you sign in and migrate it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Scrape, copy, or republish content from LikeLocalsDo without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the service at scale without prior agreement
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity

4. Content Accuracy & Disclaimers

Our guides are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies. Business hours, prices, menus, and availability change frequently. Always verify important details directly with the venue before visiting.

LikeLocalsDo is not responsible for any decisions made based on our content, including but not limited to: travel decisions, bookings, expenses, or disappointment based on inaccurate recommendations. Use our guides as a starting point, not gospel.

5. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services

Some listings include affiliate links to third-party booking services (such as OpenTable, Viator, and Booking.com). If you make a reservation or purchase through these links, we may receive a referral commission. This does not affect which businesses we recommend or the order of recommendations.

LikeLocalsDo is not a party to any transaction between you and a third-party service. We are not responsible for third-party content, pricing, policies, or practices.

6. User-Generated Content

Features such as trip planners, saved lists, and trip suggestions may allow you to create or contribute content. By submitting content, you grant LikeLocalsDo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content in connection with the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Privacy & Data

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using LikeLocalsDo, you agree to our data practices as described in that policy.

8. Email Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails (sign-in links, account updates) and may receive occasional product updates about new cities and features. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on LikeLocalsDo — including AI-generated guides, interface design, branding, and original text — is owned by or licensed to LikeLocalsDo. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

The LikeLocalsDo name, logo, and trade dress are protected. Nothing in these terms grants you a license to use our intellectual property.

10. Limitation of Liability

LikeLocalsDo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LikeLocalsDo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, including but not limited to inaccurate recommendations, service interruptions, or data loss.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid us anything).

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
